Ahoy landlubbers!... kids can enjoy a weekly ‘beach theme’ at the Arts Den in a range of fun holiday-related craft activities. Sessions are scheduled to allow children to attend a dance and art session every week on Thursday 9, 16, 23 and 30 August.
In Crafty Fun younger children (aged 4-7) will do craft-based activities using fun materials i.e. making masks. The Art Maker older age (8-11) group will develop skills in a variety of artforms such as puppet making, sculpture and collage. See the list of workshop subjects. Sessions cost £4.50 each in the Gallery.
For boys and girls who prefer dancing to art there are a choice of dance sessions. Aspire Dance Group is creative street dance offering funky routines and help to invent new moves. Sessions cost £4 for 8-11 year olds in the Studio. Whilst for younger kids Wiggle & Giggle is a fun, creative intro to dance plus movement, play and a chance to meet new friends! Sessions cost £4 for ages 4-7 year olds in the Studio.
