To celebrate the Olympics, Touchwood is inviting local children to take part in its free, interactive ‘Sports Stars’ challenge and get into the sporting spirit this summer.
On Tuesday 31 July and Tuesday 7 August, Touchwood will be transformed into a sports hub as it teams up with the Solihull Bees, All Active Sports, Solihull Arden Tennis Club, Phys Kids and Combat Sports Centre, to invite its younger guests to put their sports skills to the test.
Children who participate will be encouraged to collect stamps in a special sports-themed passport by completing a host of different activities. From archery and martial arts, to basketball and tennis, there will be plenty to do, and depending on how many of the various activity stations the children complete, they will be awarded a bronze, silver or gold medal for their efforts.
