There's so much to do in Solihull and there's lots of great parks to visit
Solihull is one place where we can guarantee you’ll never be short of something to entertain you!
There’s a nine-screen cinema in Touchwood showing all the latest releases and a theatre at Solihull Arts Complex offering a mix of professional touring shows, musicals, poetry and community am-dram plus local and regional contemporary art exhibitions. Just ten minutes down the road you’ll also find top flight entertainment, massive events and the biggest names in music on stage at the LG Arena and National Exhibition Centre.
For those looking for more energetic pursuits Solihull Ice Rink is worth a visit – or perhaps the bike track or skate park in Tudor Grange Park - one of several large open spaces in Solihull, another being the beautiful, mile-long Brueton Park which boasts a lake, Nature Centre and large children’s adventure playground as well as acres of green space to run around in or mature trees to sit and read a good book under.
The Stratford Upon Avon canal runs through the borough with miles of towpaths to explore, linking beautiful rural villages and a network of country footpaths.
And if it’s a little history you’re after why not check out the 15th Century manor house and mediaeval parish church of St. Alphege in Solihull High Street?
