The cottages are Grade II listed, four star rated self catering and nestle in picturesque tranquil countryside; in the Heart of Shakespeare's picturesque historic Warwickshire with the ancient Forest of Arden in the background, now known as Hay Wood. There are open views to the front and rear of the cottages.

The four attractive cottages are beautifully furnished & fully equipped. They were converted from the barns of the Tudor Manor House. The oak and elm beams and many other original features have been carefully retained.

The new landscaping has recently been completed, incorporating individual patios, garden furnature and lawns. Parking is adjacent to the cottages. Sheep and Dexter cows graze happily in the adjoining paddocks. Children can pedal two pedal tractors along the drive. A red & yellow car is here for the youngest.

Baddesley Clinton is an NT Tudor moated manor house and just two and a half miles along Hay Lane. Here you can also enjoy lunches and cream teas. NT Packwood House is just two miles further on. Shakespeare Hall is only one mile across the fields from the cottages. William Shakespeare apparently drank his ale in the manor house whilst travelling to see his sister Joanne who was abbess at near by Hamlet, Wroxall Abbey. William's father and grandfather were among gamekeepers on the Wroxall Estate. Thomas Shakespeare died in Whitley Elm Manor House in 1669. A Real Ale pub is only half a mile away along a quiet lane.

At Hatton (three miles along the lanes) are the famous flight of twenty-one locks in the country; along the Grand Union Canal. A short journey away are Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, the Cotswolds and the Churchill's Blenheim Palace.

The children will love the Farm Village and vast play area at Hatton Country World - just along the lanes. They can hold the guinea pigs and small animals.

In Birmingham, The Symphony Hall and magnificent Sea-Life centre; the National Indoor Arena and Canal side pubs etc are only sixteen miles away.

Cottages are approximately £475.00 per week - please call for more information.
